We all love how the Apollo sounds. We had been playing shows there what felt like every week or two during 2019. We asked Alex if he would be interested in recording a full live set, that we were going to maybe make into a record. Alex recorded 8 or 9 of of our songs. They ended up lost in the ether, because at the same time RJ Little from Thirties had been asking us to come down Marquette, Michigan to record with Ryan Staples. This Apollo session just became something fun to do, to document our live sound at the time and capture how good live music sounds in the room. You can hear how these songs have changed compared to the "Cartwrights" record and how we play them live now.

We've played many shows, with many bands at the Apollo. some highlights being opening for Paul Collins(what?!), Ancient Shapes, Wine Lips, Cold Lake Sun, Visons of Doyle, and on and on. No to mention all the bands I saw here as a teenager and into my 20s and 30s.
I'm glad we have these recordings.
